Ruth has offered her gifts of physical and spiritual healing to friends and family for over twenty years. She is a Certified Reiki Master Teacher, trained in the Reiki Traditional Usui Method, and is member of the International Association of Reiki Professionals. Ruth has trained at the Crystal and Natural Healing Academy in Scotland - a certified member of the British Crystal Healers Association. She has studied Shamanic Healing with the Foundation for Shamanic Studies.

Ruth started the Center in 2005, now located in Belfast, Maine. Originally Ruth worked with Reiki exclusively doing energy healing work but she was introduced to crystal therapy during one of her Master's training sessions and she knew that from then on crystals were to be a serious part of her healing system. The increased level of energy healing they produce assists and enhances the lovely energy of Reiki.

Ruth teaches courses in Reiki and Crystals at the Center; works with clients at the Center using both Reiki and Crystals for energy therapy, individualized to suit the needs and preferences of the client; and she conducts distance healing. Ruth practices, and teaches Reiki hospice, for those who are providing end-of-life care--to help caregivers nurture themselves; and to comfort, and to maintain loving emotional connections with the dying. Private classes are offered for caregivers.
